Yingke Malaysia Office | 22 May 2026
From 18 to 19 May, a study tour linking directly with Henan’s industries took place in Zhengzhou. Wang Yu, Executive Director of Yingke Laos, and Yao Yanfei (Maggie), Executive Director of Yingke Malaysia, worked with the Henan Entrepreneurs Federation, the Henan Entrepreneurs Association and Beijing Yingke (Zhengzhou) Law Firm on an itinerary that ran from a panoramic industry survey to focused legal-business meetings. Over two days and more than ten companies, the Yingke delegation offered a professional reading of the opportunities in going global, and answered local development needs with a global network.
18 May
Into Henan’s Leading Enterprises: Taking the Pulse of the Central Plains
Organised by the Henan Entrepreneurs Federation and the Henan Entrepreneurs Association, the first day on 18 May saw Director Yao Yanfei (Maggie) and Director Wang Yu visit seven benchmark enterprises across new materials, optoelectronic displays, cultural and creative products, food, home furnishings and fast-moving consumer goods, gaining an in-depth view of Henan’s industrial strength.
Henan Cultivated Diamond Trading Center and Henan Memory·Life Diamond

The Henan Cultivated Diamond Trading Center is an integrated industry service platform jointly initiated by Zhengzhou High-tech Industry Investment Group, the Zhengzhou Research Institute of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and industry-chain enterprises, aiming to build a complete cultivated-diamond market ecosystem. Memory·Life Diamond is the only life-diamond brand under the center and the first in China to achieve fully independent production across the entire industry chain. Drawing on the center, it has built a customisation system that is “independent across the chain, visible throughout the process and traceable to source”. The delegation and the company’s representatives discussed its distinctive “biotechnology plus emotional consumption” model, covering cross-border compliance for biological materials, the global layout of intellectual property, and the cultural acceptance and market-access challenges facing high-value consumer goods going overseas.

Qianbaishi Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd.

Zhengzhou Qianbaishi Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise in the Zhengzhou High-tech Zone, specialising in LED displays with business reaching more than 100 countries and regions. The company has three provincial and municipal R&D platforms and has accumulated 43 granted patents and 32 software copyrights. Both sides focused on strategies for protecting high-tech enterprises’ patents internationally, and on the prospects for and routes into the ASEAN market.

Aiqipa Cultural & Creative

“Everything except water and air can be printed.” Aiqipa combines leading printing technology, high-tech inks and Eastern aesthetics to give traditional culture new life. Zhengzhou Aiqipa Digital Printing Art Co., Ltd. was founded in 2013 and is a holding subsidiary of Zhengzhou Hongsheng Digital Technology Co., Ltd. Using fabric as its medium and digital printing technology, it is a cultural and creative consumer brand integrating design, R&D, production and sales. Building on the company’s product strengths, the delegation held in-depth discussions on cross-border copyright protection for creative products and international trademark layout.
Sanquan Foods Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1992, Sanquan Foods is a pioneer and leader of China’s frozen food industry. Starting from a single glutinous rice ball, its core strengths are fully intelligent production lines and strong R&D capability. The company owns two well-known brands, “Sanquan” and “Longfeng”, and has held a leading market share for many years. Starting from the globalisation of a national brand, the delegation and company representatives looked closely at market-entry standards for food exports, the legal practicalities of setting up factories overseas, supply-chain compliance, and the risk-control system for building a global brand.
Zhengzhou Memory·1952 Cultural & Creative Park

A model of urban renewal, the Zhengzhou Memory·1952 Cultural & Creative Park carries the energy of “youth on the rooftops” and the memory of the city. The park was converted from the old plant of the Zhengzhou Oils and Chemicals Factory, which was founded in 1952. It has since become a national tourism and leisure district drawing more than 30,000 visitors a day, a new cultural landmark that blends historical memory with fashionable consumption.
Zhiou Home

Zhiou Home is a successful example of a Chinese brand going global: born in China and serving the world, it is a global leader in internet-based home furnishings. Its brands include the home brand SONGMICS, the style-furniture brand VASAGLE and the pet-home brand Feandrea. Its products have reached more than 70 countries and regions and served over 20 million households, and the company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s ChiNext board in 2023. As a seasoned overseas operator, its experience is highly valuable, and both sides analysed in depth full-chain compliance in cross-border e-commerce, the building of overseas warehouses, and how to respond to Southeast Asian platform rules.

Henan Yixiang Hygiene Technology Co., Ltd.

Henan Yixiang Hygiene Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2017 and is a professional hygiene-products company integrating R&D, production, sales and service. Its core brand, Deyou wet toilet paper, has ranked first in national sales for three consecutive years, with annual revenue above RMB 4 billion and a leading market share, and was included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s first list of “China Consumer Brands”. As a rising force among fast-moving consumer goods going global, it is accelerating its expansion into overseas markets.
Through these intensive cross-sector exchanges, the Yingke delegation came away with a clear sense of Henan companies’ wish to move from “selling globally” to “making globally” and even “operating globally”. Their core concern has shifted from “whether to go overseas” to “how to localise operations in a compliant, stable and efficient way”, which sets a clear direction for the targeted services Yingke will provide next.
19 May
Two Pillar Industries, Cutting-Edge Legal-Business Solutions
On 19 May, to deepen the “integration of law and business” strategy and precisely meet the global development needs of outstanding local Henan enterprises, Gao Zhihui, Deputy Director of the Foreign-Related Practice Center of Beijing Yingke (Zhengzhou) Law Firm, led a series of targeted visits and exchanges.
The visits brought together Yingke’s cross-border legal strengths: Wang Yu, Executive Director of Yingke Laos; Yao Yanfei (Maggie), Executive Director of Yingke Malaysia; Li Chenlin, Deputy Director of the ASEAN Desk at the Zhengzhou Foreign-Related Practice Center; and Zhang Xixian, Director’s Assistant. They called in turn on Henan Sifangda Superhard Materials Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Huajing Diamond Co., Ltd., the International Cultivated Diamond Trading Center and Chengfeng Polang Pictures, offering cutting-edge legal and business resources to support the companies’ international plans.
Backing a Leading Industry: Superhard Materials Shine Globally

By visiting Sifangda, Huajing and the International Cultivated Diamond Trading Center, the delegation gained a close understanding of Henan’s strengths as the “world capital of superhard materials” and of how its companies are going overseas. With the superhard-materials and cultivated-diamond sectors expanding rapidly in overseas markets in recent years, Director Yao Yanfei (Maggie) and Director Wang Yu drew on the latest investment climate in Southeast Asia and worldwide to share practical experience in overseas plant setup, cross-border intellectual property protection and international trade compliance. Both sides discussed in depth how to use Yingke’s global network to help Henan’s superhard-materials companies avoid trade barriers and optimise their supply-chain layout overseas, with the aim of helping this Henan calling card go steadily and far on the international stage.
Cultural Going-Global: Helping Short-Drama Companies Set Sail

In the visit to Chengfeng Polang Pictures, a leading domestic short-drama company, the discussion turned to the popular “cultural going-global” track. Faced with new challenges for short-drama apps in overseas markets, including local compliance, data privacy protection and copyright operations, the Yingke lawyers offered targeted compliance advice from the dual perspectives of legal risk control and commercial execution. Both sides look forward to closer cooperation to build a solid legal backstop for the globalisation of Henan’s culture and entertainment industry.
These visits are a vivid example of cross-border collaboration within the global Yingke system. By combining the professional strengths of the Zhengzhou, Malaysia and Laos offices, Yingke can offer Chinese enterprises that are “going global” local support that is closer to the market.
Summary
From Breadth to Depth: A Global Network Empowering Local Enterprises
From the “breadth scan” across industries on the 18th to the “in-depth analysis” of core industries on the 19th, the two-day programme clearly outlines Yingke’s distinctive approach to serving Chinese enterprises:
Understanding first. By going into companies and grasping their industry logic and commercial pain points, we keep legal services in step with business needs.
Precise focus. Relying on Yingke’s global service network, we offer country-specific solutions suited to each stage of a company’s overseas expansion.
Law and business combined. Going beyond simple legal risk warnings, we pay more attention to the commercial strategy, planning a compliant and efficient route overseas that balances business goals with legal safety.
This effective collaboration between Yingke Laos, Yingke Malaysia and the Yingke Zhengzhou office has not only brought Henan companies the latest legal and business insights on ASEAN, but also built a solid bridge for cross-border services. Going forward, Yingke will continue to draw on its professional foreign-related legal capabilities and rich global resource network to accompany more Chinese enterprises in seizing opportunities and moving forward steadily in a complex international environment.
